River Trips



Big Bend’s five stunning river canyons are perfect for kayaking, canoeing, and rafting the Rio Grande. Routes range from beginner-friendly to challenging, with options for short trips or multi-day adventures. Most outfitters provide rentals and shuttle service. Trips are subject to water levels.

Mountain Biking



Big Bend offers scenic paved highways ideal for road bikes and an extensive back road system for mountain biking. Desert Sports, the main provider in the area, offers rentals, guided trips, repairs, and accessories for biking enthusiasts. Boquillas Border-Crossing



Journey into the charming, solar-powered Mexican village on the western side of Big Bend National Park. Explore the town's shops, dine at Falcon's Restaurant along the Rio Grande, and, if time permits, enjoy a relaxing soak in the Boquillas Hot Springs after crossing back into the National Park.
